Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi said Iran is ready to turn into an energy hub in the region and become a safe route for distribution and transit of gas between producers and consumer markets.
Irans Oil Minister Javad Owji said international peace and de-politicization of the energy trade are key factors in the development of the gas industry and materialization of the security of supply and demand of the natural gas in the global market.
Iran will host the 26th Ministerial Meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) this year.

Tehran-Ashgabat cooperation in the gas sector could turn Iran into an energy hub in the region, the Iranian Parliaments Energy Committee spokesman, Malek Shariati Niasar said.
