Iran, Iraq Extend Gas Export Contract for another 5 Years

Irans deputy petroleum minister and managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said the gas export contract to Iraq was extended for another five years.

Majid Chegeni made the remarks on the second day of the 28th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2024), which is underway at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.

According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, he stated that Armenia has also requested to buy more Iran gas and the negotiation is underway.
